9 days...update

9:35 pm update
It was a cold and rainy day, but then a group of folks from New Orleans came by. They saw our big "WANTED FOR MASS MURDER" poster, calling out the Bush Regime's crimes against the people of the Gulf in the wake of hurricane Katrina. They were taking pictures of each other giving the finger to the "mug shots" of Bush, Cheney, Condi, and Chertoff. We got to talking, and decided that everyone needed to hear their story.

9 DAYS LEFT TILL THE BEGINNING OF THE END OF THE BUSH REGIME
On November 2nd, the World Can't Wait movement to Drive Out the Bush Regime launches.
"As we near the horrific total of 2,000 Americans and more than 100,000 Iraqis dead, and as a rain of indictments begins to fall, the only thing George Bush could do to improve his place in history is to resign now and take his whole crew with him," said Travis Morales of The World Can’t Wait. "The World Can’t Wait is launching a national movement on November 2 to drive out the George Bush regime as soon as possible."
"To that end, on November 2, the first anniversary of Bush's "re-election", we will take the first major step in this by organizing a truly massive day of resistance all over this country. People everywhere will walk out of school, they will take off work, they will come to the downtowns and town squares and set out from there, going through the streets and calling on many more to JOIN US. They will repudiate this criminal regime, making a powerful statement: 'NO! THIS REGIME DOES NOT REPRESENT US! AND WE WILL DRIVE IT OUT!'"
The World Can’t Wait is sponsoring an encampment in front of the White House to countdown to the November 2 launch. Since October 14, World Can’t Wait campaigners have been talking with hundreds of Americans from across the country who come to White House.
"Every day, we talk with people who are just sick at heart over the crimes of the Bush regime," said Travis Morales at the World Can’t Wait encampment. "People tell us they’re glad that someone is finally indicting and arresting some of Bush’s crooked cronies. And even people who supported the war at the beginning are telling us that they made a mistake, and we should pull out as soon as possible."
Organizers for The World Can’t Wait have rallies and marches planned in over 60 cities around the United States on November 2, including New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. In Washington, The World Can’t Wait encampment will be open every day through November 2 in Lafayette Park from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. Every day at 12 noon at the White House fence, they will announce "Today's Reason to Drive Out the Bush Regime".
