Join us tomorrow!
Stop the International Crimes Against Humanity
Speak Out at the White House Encampment to “Drive Out the Bush Regime”
Friday, October 21, 5:30 p.m.
Lafayette Park across from the White House

Join us to hear:

Chuck Kaufman, Nicaragua Network
Carol Moore, DC Anti-War Network
Henrik Voss, School of the Americas Watch
And others.

As the Call for “The World Can’t Wait, Drive Out the Bush Regime!” says,“Your government, on the basis of outrageous lies, is waging a murderous and utterly illegitimate war in Iraq, with other countries in their sights.” (See Call)

Join us to hear and discuss the international crimes against humanity of the Bush regime in Nicaragua, Haiti, Iraq, Iran, Central America, and beyond. The crimes discussed are just one small part of the daily crimes committed by this regime against the people of the world. In our short stay in Lafayette Park, we have met people from Canada, Peru, China, Japan, South Africa, Venezuela, Colombia, Scotland, Holland, Ireland, Israel, Great Britain, Germany, Spain, Mexico, Pakistan, Malaysia, and other countries. Overwhelmingly, they agree, this regime must go!

Join us in the encampment in Lafayette Park to reach out to the people of the world and people from all across the U.S. with the message of “The World Can’t Wait, Drive Out the Bush Regime!” We have the responsibility to stand with the people of the world against the crimes of this regime. The encampment is where we can speak directly to them and give them heart that there is a growing movement in this country that will be launched on November 2 that will lift this tremendous burden from their shoulders.

“We more than fighting Bush's outrages one at a time, constantly losing ground to the whole onslaught. We must, and can, aim to create a political situation where the Bush regime's program is repudiated, where Bush himself is driven from office, and where the whole direction he has been taking society is reversed. We, in our millions, must and can take responsibility to change the course of history.” (From the Call)

Join us! We are here from 10 am- 7 pm EVERY DAY. And at NOON each day, we cross the street, on the sidewalk in front of the White House, and directly serve notice about the number of the days til the beginning of the end of the Bush Regime. At that time, we read the ENTIRE CALL, in unison. And WHEN, not if, you come to join us, whether for an hour, or a day, or a week, bring bagels, coffee, water, or any thing else to help keep us going. We will be posting more about what you can do to be part of this, and support this effort. But we want to reach many more people and build for November 2.

The World Can't Wait! Drive Out the Bush Regime! November 2!

photo of Anna, a woman from New Orleans, who spoke to us about how she ended up homeless on the streets of DC. After being evacuated from New Orleans, she stayed in the armory in DC...until it CLOSED on October 15. She is now homeless and stuck here because FEMA won't pay for her bus ticket back home. Hear her interview when we first met her at the encampment.
